Set into the landscape, Lodgehill House is a new-build private residence with some unique engineering challenges. Retaining walls were required, which we designed with the construction sequence carefully in mind.

To create a generous, column-free living space, we introduced storey-height steel trusses, making clever use of the layout to keep steelwork to a minimum. With no mains sewage connection available, we also developed sustainable drainage solutions including soakaways for rainwater and a packaged treatment plant for foul water.
